RSS feeds provide an efficient means of accessing new content. Instead of visiting a website to view what new articles are posted, I can give the RSS feed to an aggregator like News Worm and then I can see what new articles are posted from the aggregator’s simple interface.

You don’t need to worry about the system requirements. News Worm’s are so low that modern and even older PCs will easily meet them. If you have a Windows-powered machine and .NET Framework 4.5, you won’t have any problems running News Worm. And since the installation process goes smoothly and rapidly, you won’t have any problems getting News Worm up and running on your Windows PC.

News Worm’s interface is incredibly simple. The main panel of the interface lists all your RSS feeds with bold text; under each feed there’s a list of articles. Above the main panel there’s a File Menu and a toolbar that features the following: add and remove RSS feeds, refresh feed, hide read items, show starred items, search box.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from News Worm: easily add RSS feeds; remove the feeds you no longer want; select a feed and view a list of articles; preview an article in News Worm; open an article in your browser; mark articles as read and hide read articles; copy or email an article’s link; mark an article as favorite; export feeds as XML.

All the functionality presented above is free to use for a trial period of 14 days. To keep using News Worm once this trial period expires, you will have to buy a license.

The great thing about News Worm is the simplicity. It is a useful news aggregator that is incredibly easy to use.

Pros

The system requirements for running News Worm are quite low. A setup wizard will quickly install News Worm on your PC. The interface is very, very simple. Manage RSS feeds, export feeds, preview articles, open articles in the browser, and more.

Cons

Trial limitations: News Worm is free to use for a trial period of 14 days.
